The Commemorative Bench Program at Georgia Tech is a wonderful opportunity to honor individuals, groups, or organizations with special importance. Through this program, donors may make a gift to construct a bench on campus in honor or memory of meaningful people. To permanently acknowledge those who have been recognized, the donor will work with the Office of Development to create a personalized plaque for the bench.

 Funds may be given by individuals or groups. Donors will select their commemorative bench design and location from a list of options, with the final decisions being made by Capital Planning and Space Management. A one-time gift of $15,000 is required to fund a commemorative bench, ensuring proper maintenance of it for as long as practicable. This amount is payable over up to three years, and 50% of the funds must be received before the bench and plaque are installed.
