Development Research Analyst

Assist in the identification and evaluation of potential philanthropic resources of prospective major gift donors.   Create confidential prospect reports in support of Institute fundraising efforts. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: Office of Development staff members, staffs of institutionally related foundations, representatives of Institute academic and administrative offices, external colleagues. Development Assistant Sr - ChBE & MSE Development

Perform high level administrative functions in support of fundraising efforts for an assigned college, school, unit, or program. Areas of responsibility include event coordination and planning, production of documentation and records/database management related to development activities.  Supports multiple professionals or is the lead support for a large program.  This is an experienced support professional with the ability to handle complex situations and work independently. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: Donors, Office of Development management and staff, college/school management and staff and appropriate communications staff. Associate Director, Development Fundraising

Front-line development officer responsible for assisting with the planning and implementation of a coordinated program of fundraising activities, leveraging the counsel and support of a seasoned development director serving as team leader and supervisor. Uses professional relationship building skills to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift donors and prospective donors capable of making gifts of $25,000 or more. Support special events to involve and cultivate major gift donors and prospects.  Identifies stewardship opportunities for major gift donors.  Collaborates with deans, school chairs, and faculty, and coordinates with other development and alumni relations staff.  This role provides an opportunity to broaden knowledge of fundraising approaches. This position is expected to contribute to team results while building long term, meaningful donor relationships. Typically solicits gifts in the range of $25,000 to $250,000 and is accountable for raising up to $750,000 per year.  Manages a prospect pool of up to 200 prospects.
