Need-based Scholarships

Georgia Tech is nationally recognized for offering one of the best values in higher education and remains committed to keeping tuition and costs low, but pursuing a Georgia Tech degree can still pose a significant financial burden for families. Scholarships for students with low and limited income ensure that bright, talented students are able to attend the Institute and fully experience everything that Georgia Tech has to offer. Gifts to new scholarships or existing scholarship programs, like the G. Wayne Clough Georgia Tech Promise Scholarship, transform the lives of dedicated young people who otherwise would not be able to attend Tech.

Co-ops and Internships

Experiential learning opportunities at Georgia Tech such as the Undergraduate Co-op and Internship Programs complement students' formal education with paid, practical work experience directly related to their academic majors. Gifts and commitments may be directed for general program support or for scholarship support.

Graduate Fellowships

Graduate students teach, mentor, and are at the forefront of research and innovation addressing major issues such as sustainable energy, new healthcare technologies and treatments, space exploration, economic development, and more. Despite Georgia Tech's proven excellence as a top research university and numerous awarded graduate programs, we lose too many high-caliber graduate students to competition from our peers who provide better fellowship opportunities. We are committed to securing more funding for graduate fellowships to ensure our ability to recruit the most gifted, innovative students and give them the freedom to address complex questions.

Merit-based Scholarships

Merit-based scholarships at Georgia Tech, such as the Stamps President's Scholars Program and the Gold Scholars Program, provide funds for competitive student support and enrichment packages that recruit and retain top undergraduate students with strong academic and leadership skills.

Study Abroad Scholarships

Georgia Tech is committed to enriching students' learning experiences and increasing their competitiveness in the global marketplace. The Institute seeks to significantly increase the number of students served by study and work abroad scholarships.

Athletic Scholarships

Georgia Tech's student-athletes have a proud tradition of excellence, both on the field and in the classroom. Today, Tech is seeking to become one of a handful of universities to fully endow all athletic scholarships.

Parent Giving

Each year, parents of current and former Georgia Tech students provide generous philanthropic support to enhance the lives of every student on campus.
